"The Seven Ghosts" is one of Floyd Gottfredson's better Mickey Mouse stories. Mickey returns to town to find everyone terrified of ghosts. He eventually learns from Goofy, "It's on account o' Colonel Bassett's House! Th' place is plumb full of 'em!"
